  Apps for converting from Divx/Xvid to DVD
 with Mac OS X
 

DVD Creator (shareware)
A very good app that can easily convert any Divx (or Xvid or avi) to DVD. When the conversion process is completed, you can save if saving it on HDD in ISO format (as a DVD image) or burning it directly inside DVD Creator (almost any kind of DVd is supported, like DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, DVD+R DL, DVD-RAM).

DVD Creator needs Mac OS X 10.4 or better. Currently Leopard is still not supported.

Toast 8 Titanium (shareware)
One of the best app for CD/DVD burning in Mac OS X.

Beside basic CD/DVD burning, Toast is expanding towards Video backup (you can compress a DVD 9 to a DVD 5, if you have a software for DVD Ripping), or automatically convert a Divx in DVD (if the divx has been created in a standard format, otherwise it will be an almost impossible task).

Toast is able to make many things, and most of them in a very good way. But, if you need a very good app for converting a divx/xvid to DVD, DVD Creator is probably better.
